We had a great night in Derry. Chamberlain House was well situated within walking distance of the Wall and all the sights. William greeted us and helped get us settled. He was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and super friendly. The room was clean and had a tv and a nice ensuite bathroom. Perfect if you are looking for an easy and affordable place to stay.
The facilities are a credit to William with kitchen and dining area, and a garage. So close to attractions, we could walk to attractions – wall, murals Guild Hall etc – restaurants and pubs.
Downside was the creaky floorboards in our room. The room was small but all essentials were there.
The staff were extremely helpful even giving us a shed to put our motor bikes in as it was raining really important for the security of our bikes . Very close to shops and restaurants and the wall great value for money a great place for people with motor bikes as property back yard has great parking and is locked up at night best parking we have came across
William went out of his way to make sure we had a good time in Derry. An amazing host and great location in the middle of town. Under cover parking was made available. Cereal was provided for no extra cost.
The owner, William, was a great host with tons of great insight on the city and amazing pub/restaurant suggestions. The house is ideally located in the middle of the best part of town but quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable and great pricing. We were provided with everything we needed, including complimentary breakfast options.
Would highly recommend!
Best Host ever.
William (the owner) was very knowledgeable about his city, and had a heap of great tips. The B&B was right i the center of the city, parking was a little tight, but you only had to park once as EVERYTHING was within walking distance.
Great! Terraced house in the middle of town. Very clean and tidy. Great owner who is very welcoming and helpful. Self catering kitchen and dining area allows you to eat or relax as you please even in the middle of the night. Kitchen and fridge is stocked with the basics (cereals fruit milk yogurt bread butter cooker microwave toaster dishes cutlery tea coffee). Just like being at home
Short walk for all the delights and fun of Londonderry. No frills just come and go as you please. Great for business or leisure visits.
Limited parking outside accommodation but free and secure parking is available behind house. Lots of bars and sights nearby. Take a walk on the walls, visit the peace bridge. There is usually an exhibition on at the Nerve visual gallery at the old army barracks. A visit to the Free Derry Museum is highly recommended if you are interested in recent history of Derry, well worth the entry fee.
